Aim and background

The 7th IFToMM International conference on Mechanisms, Transmission, and Application (MeTrApp 2025) will be hosted by the National Central University in Taoyuan City (Taiwan) from September 1st to 3rd 2025. Every two years since 2011, ITToMM MeTrApp provides an international platform for scientists, industrial and students to exchange their latest original research in the fields of mechanism and transmission sciences with special emphasis on industrial applications in order to stimulate the exchange of new visions and innovative ideas. Supported by the IFToMM Technical Committees of “Linkages and Mechanical Controls” and “Gearing and Transmission”, previous MeTrApp conferences have been held in Poitiers (France) in 2023, Dalian (China) in 2019, Trabzon (Turkey) in 2017, Aachen (Germany) in 2015, Bilbao (Spain) in 2013 and Timisoara (Romania) in 2011.
